The DFRAG Invitational brings eight CS2 teams to Brisbane next week
Three Oceanic invites, NEXVOID from Asia and four qualifier sides, with Major invite chances riding on it.
Brisbane's DFRAG studio hosts its third Counter-Strike 2 LAN of the month from Monday 26 October to Sunday 1 November. The DFRAG Invitational 2026 has a $28,440 prize pool, with $14,220 for the winner, and it's a ranked event on Valve's regional standings (VRS) calendar.
HLTV lists FlyQuest, Ground Zero and Rooster on Oceanic VRS invites and NEXVOID on an Asian one. Abyssal and Finishers came through the closed qualifier, Alter Ego took a replacement spot and Off Chops won the last chance qualifier, according to HLTV and organiser DFRAG.
The format is a GSL-style group stage of best-of-threes, then a double-elimination playoff, with a best-of-five grand final on 1 November.
There's a rematch on the cards. NEXVOID beat FlyQuest in the final of the Logitech G Pro Series at the same venue on 18 October. HLTV's invite simulation gives FlyQuest an 80.9% chance of a PGL Major Singapore invite with a deep run here, and 47.2% without one.
