WoW Forever's three raids open on 9 December
The Barrow Deeps for 10, Hyjal Summit for 20 and Onyxia’s Lair for 40, with a Drakefire Amulet attunement.
Blizzard has laid out the endgame for World of Warcraft: Forever. From 9 December, level 60 players can take on three raids: the Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and Onyxia's Lair.
The Barrow Deeps is a 10-player raid with eight bosses, set in the prison beneath Kalimdor that held Illidan for 10,000 years. It has entrances from Mount Hyjal, Winterspring and Blackmaw Hold.
Hyjal Summit is a 20-player raid with 13 bosses near the World Tree Nordrassil. Blizzard says groups can pick different routes across the mountain on the way to the final encounters.
Onyxia's Lair in Dustwallow Marsh is the 40-player raid. Every raider needs the Drakefire Amulet to get in, earned through faction-specific attunement quest chains that run through Blackrock Depths and Blackrock Spire, and Blizzard advises building fire resistance first.
WoW Forever itself launches at 9am Brisbane time on Thursday 5 November, which is 4 November in the US.
