Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5 adds a new side quest, dual-wield pistols and console mods

CD Projekt Red says the Edgerunners 2 Update, version 2.5, for Cyberpunk 2077 came out on 22 October on PC and Mac (Steam, GOG and Epic), PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Switch 2 version and the Mac App Store follow in the days after.

The headline addition is Clampdown, a new side quest set before the events of the Edgerunners 2 anime. It unlocks after The Heist once you've done two gigs for Wakako, and it comes with a new King gear set. There's also a new radio station, HKGN 102.0 FM, five new outfit sets and new skins for hand cyberware at Glamdocs.

A new Double Trouble perk lets you dual-wield pistols and revolvers. CDPR is also adding cross-platform mod support through mod.io on PC, Mac, PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2, plus a Welcome to Paradise quest narrated by Richard Night.
