Ultimate Frame Data, a free site for frame data and hitbox information, has removed its Street Fighter 6 section after a notice from Capcom's intellectual property department. The site's owner, MetalMusicMan, posted the notice and wrote on X: "Not my choice, sorry everyone."

According to the notice posted on the site, Capcom said the pages contained "hitbox and collision-related information for Street Fighter 6 that is not ordinarily visible or accessible through normal gameplay". Capcom said it does not authorise modified software, analysis tools or other unauthorised ways to obtain game data, and asked for the material to be removed or disabled by 30 October 2026.

Kotaku reports that the site's Super Smash Bros. Ultimate data has not been touched. Capcom's own frame data for Street Fighter 6 is still available through its official site, which needs a login.

As of 25 October, Capcom hasn't commented publicly beyond the notice.
