Capcom says online content in the PlayStation 4 and Steam versions of Street Fighter V is unavailable while it strengthens security related to the PHP programming language the game uses. In a notice dated 27 Oct, it says emergency maintenance is under way and that sales on the PlayStation Store and Steam will be suspended in stages until the fix is done.
Offline content can still be played, Capcom says. It hasn't given a date for online features or store sales to return, VGC reports.
Capcom first announced emergency maintenance on the game last week, VGC says, after two serious vulnerabilities were found in PHP, a programming language widely used for web services. Shacknews also reported the delisting.
