Blizzard says a bug in World of Warcraft: Forever's restricted-name list was blocking names that contain the letters "c-o-n". Community manager Kaivax posted on the official forums at 27 Oct, 6:28pm PT (28 Oct, 11:28am AEST) that a fix comes with the next realm restarts in each region, and players can try those names again after that. Wowhead also reported it.

Blizzard didn't give restart times, so we haven't listed one.

The separate Oceanic bug we reported on 28 Oct is still open as far as we can find. Players on Australian-based servers must create Roleplay or Roleplay-PvP characters before any Normal or PvP ones. As of 4:40am AEST on 29 Oct, Blizzard's forum thread on that bug has no update saying it is fixed. Name reservations run through 3 Nov.
