Epic's AI MegaJam runs 12 to 15 November with US$65,000 in prizes
Teams of up to five can use as many AI agents as they like to build a game in Unreal Engine or UEFN. Using AI is optional.
Epic Games has announced the 2026 Epic AI MegaJam, a game jam running from 12 to 15 November. Teams of up to five people, plus as many AI agents as they want, build a playable game in Unreal Engine or UEFN, and can connect agents to the editor with Unreal MCP.
The jam's itch.io page lists US$65,000 in cash prizes across categories such as Best Overall for Unreal Engine and UEFN and Best Student Project. Epic says standout entries can also get Development Continuation Grants of up to US$50,000.
Epic's FAQ says using AI isn't required, and online and in-person entries are judged the same way. Teams can join online or in person at Digital Jungle in San Francisco on 14 and 15 November. The theme is revealed in a kickoff stream on 11 November.
