Free game time starts going out ·

Square Enix says it will give one day of game time to Final Fantasy XIV players after new logins were suspended for about a day on 21 and 22 October, while it dealt with a critical vulnerability in PHP.
Eligible accounts have the full game registered and an active subscription on 21 or 22 October (PDT). Recurring subscriptions are extended by a day, along with paid extras such as additional retainers. Accounts without recurring payments get a day added.
Square Enix says the grant starts on 28 Oct, 12am PT (28 Oct, 5pm AEST) and will take two to three days to reach everyone. It applies to the global version. Separately, the server backup feature for save data resumed on 23 October.
