ENCE file for bankruptcy after 13 years in Counter-Strike
The Finnish organisation's board made the call. ENCE gave no reason and hasn't said what happens to players under contract.

ENCE's board of directors has decided to file for bankruptcy, the Finnish esports organisation announced on X on 26 Oct under the heading "End of an era". The short statement thanked players, staff, partners and fans. HLTV and Finnish public broadcaster Yle both reported the announcement.
ENCE reached the IEM Katowice 2019 Major final with an all-Finnish lineup led by Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen, and won three top-tier events in its 13 years in Counter-Strike, HLTV says. Its core lineup was sold to Falcons in December 2023. In April 2026 it promoted its Finnish academy team, and Aleksi "allu" Jalli joined as head coach in June.
The statement gave no reason and didn't say what happens to players and staff still under contract. Pley.gg reports that the company's filed accounts show losses of €680,000 in 2024 and €940,000 in 2025. allu posted "Heartbroken" on X and said he'd say more later.
