Digital Foundry measured Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4's multiplayer on Nintendo Switch 2 at an average of 81ms of input lag docked and 100ms in portable mode, with readings from 83ms to 125ms handheld. The same test on PS5 averaged 49.1ms. Both used wireless controllers.
Digital Foundry says multiplayer mostly holds 60fps while the campaign runs at 30fps. Docked mode targets 900p with DLSS and can drop to 450p, and portable targets 720p and can drop to 360p. The port is by Digital Legends working with Infinity Ward. IGN reports the lag leaves Switch 2 players at a competitive disadvantage in crossplay.
Photite has covered Modern Warfare 4's launch maps and modes, its Season 1 roadmap, the Possum nerf in DMZ and the removal of Itaewon crush footage.
