Major opens with the play-in ·

The BLAST R6 Major Osaka starts with the play-in on 5 Nov, 4:30pm PT (6 Nov, 10:30am AEST), when DarkZero play TYLOO, according to Ubisoft's competition page and Strafe. ENTERPRISE Esports, Oceania's only team, are one of 12 seeds that go straight into the Swiss stage, Siege.GG reports.
Eight teams fight for four Swiss spots in the play-in on 6 and 7 Nov. The Swiss stage opens with every team playing two best-of-one games on its first day. The last eight play single-elimination best-of-three playoffs from 13 to 15 Nov at Osaka's ATC Hall, which Siege.GG says holds 3,600 and has sold out, with a best-of-five grand final.
The winner takes US$200,000 and 1,500 Six Invitational points. ENTERPRISE qualified by beating the Chiefs 2-1 in the Oceania League Stage 2 grand final and already have a place at the Six Invitational 2027, so Osaka is about seeding and prize money.
Photite covered how ENTERPRISE qualified for Osaka in October. Japan's daytime matches are an hour behind AEST, so most of the event lands in comfortable Australian hours.
