Guild Wars Afterlife, new paid DLC for the original Guild Wars, launches on 13 Jan 2027 on PC, Steam, the Apple App Store and Google Play, ArenaNet said on GuildWars2.com on 3 Nov. It's the game's first new DLC in almost 20 years and needs Guild Wars Reforged to play.
ArenaNet says players take their existing characters to Xotecha, an isle in the Mists, and run the Unformed, a dungeon with a different lineup of maps, encounters and bosses every time. A new skill-drafting system offers abilities from any profession, not only your primary and secondary. Runs can be played with friends or henchmen, and some rewards carry over outside the DLC.
Prepurchase is US$23.99 · A$36.79 on Steam as of 5 Nov and includes the Vestments of the Order costume. ArenaNet says the price returns to US$29.99 at launch, and Steam lists A$45.99. Prices may vary by platform.
