Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 goes live on 6 Nov, Activision said on the PlayStation Blog. It didn't give a start time.

Multiplayer gets three maps at launch: Backstab, Canyon and a reimagined Shoot House set in snowy North Korea. Grind mode and Drop Zone come back too. Two more maps, Ministry and Overflow, and a new Counter Attack mode, where teams try to blow up the other side's Comm Station, arrive later in the season.

DMZ adds X01, a seized weapons facility full of tunnels and hazards that closes off extraction points as you play. Dexerto calls it the mode's most dangerous map yet. Warzone gets two new maps, Hajin and Zodiac. The Season 1 Battle Pass adds the Cronen Osprey assault rifle and the CSG-35 SMG.
