Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5080 is no longer listed on Nvidia's US GeForce Marketplace, which leaves the RTX 5070 Ti as the fastest card there, IGN, VideoCardz and OC3D report. It follows the RTX 5090, which was removed earlier this month. Nvidia's UK store still lists both, OC3D says.
Nvidia hasn't explained the change, and a card missing from its store doesn't necessarily mean it's discontinued. VideoCardz has reported that Nvidia is preparing a 24GB model to replace the 16GB card, but Nvidia hasn't confirmed that.
Prices have climbed during this year's memory shortage. VideoCardz found the lowest confirmed online price on 28 Oct was US$1,999.99 at Best Buy, about double the card's US$999 launch price.
