Pearl Abyss says Crimson Desert Enhanced now has a free five-hour trial of the base game. Every Xbox player can try it, and on PlayStation it's open to PlayStation Plus Premium and Deluxe members.
Your progress carries over if you buy the full game. It's one go per account, though, and once the five hours are up the trial can't be restarted. It doesn't include the new Charting the Unknown expansion, which came out on 29 Oct.
As of 31 Oct, Pearl Abyss lists the Xbox trial until 7 Jan 2027 and the PlayStation trial until 29 Oct 2027. Xbox Wire's own post gives the Xbox end date as 6 Jan in one place, so don't leave it to the last day.
