Blizzard is adjusting World of Warcraft: Forever layering after players said capital cities felt too empty, community manager Aggrend wrote on the official forums on 5 Nov. "We are aware of some issues with certain areas not feeling as populated as they should. We will be tweaking some numbers tomorrow to help things feel a bit more lively," Aggrend said.
PC Gamer and Wowhead both report the same Aggrend reply under Forever general discussion threads about quiet Stormwind and Orgrimmar layers. Forever's realmless layering spreads players across copies of the world; at launch that kept queues short, as Photite covered, but left some hubs sparse.
Oceanic players on busy AEST evenings should notice livelier auction houses and city squares if the tweak lands as Aggrend described. Check the in-game layer rather than an old realm list, and expect further population tuning in the first week.
