Hogwarts Legacy adds DLSS 5 with 3D-Guided Neural Rendering on Thursday 5 Nov, NVIDIA said on 3 Nov. It works on GeForce RTX 50 Series desktops and laptops, RTX Spark PCs and GeForce NOW Ultimate, via a Neural Rendering option in the game's settings. NVIDIA's Game Ready Driver for it was due on 4 Nov in the NVIDIA app. Neowin also reports the dates.

NVIDIA says the AI pass sharpens lighting, shadows, textures and reflections while keeping characters looking as the artists designed them. Avalanche Software's Jose Villeta says the team tuned it to keep the game true to its original vision. NVIDIA claims up to 300fps at 4K on an RTX 5090 with 6X Multi Frame Generation turned on as well.

War Thunder gets DLSS 5 in mid-November with its Eagle's Shadow update, and Where Winds Meet follows on 23 Nov. NVIDIA says its October model is 2x faster and about 24% smaller than before, and uses 20% less VRAM at 4K.

Photite covered NVIDIA's RTX Spark laptops going on sale on 20 Oct.
