Grand Theft Auto VI can be pre-loaded from 10 Nov, nine days before its 19 Nov launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, Rockstar Games said on its Newswire on 3 Nov. The download needs up to 212GB of free space, depending on the console.
On PS5, pre-load opens at midnight local time on 10 Nov, so players in Australia can start from 12am AEST on 10 Nov. On Xbox Series X|S it opens worldwide at 12am GMT on 10 Nov, which is 9 Nov, 4pm PT (10 Nov, 10am AEST). The PlayStation Blog confirms the PS5 timing and the 212GB figure.
Rockstar says physical code-in-box copies reach retailers from 12 Nov. On launch day it will also post a free printable cover art poster and a map of Leonida on its website. A double-sided printed poster follows soon after launch on the Rockstar Store at US$0.99 · AU price TBC, or free with any Rockstar Store order, VGC reports.
For what you'll be downloading, Photite covered Rockstar's look at the size of Leonida on 1 Nov.
