The Elder Scrolls VI is subtitled Sentinel, Bethesda Game Studios revealed in a 40th anniversary video and an official name reveal teaser posted on 3 Nov, 6:59am PT (4 Nov, 12:59am AEST). Todd Howard appears in the anniversary video. Gematsu, Kotaku and TechRadar all report the reveal.
The teaser shows an Elder Scroll half-buried in sand. It ends on a quote credited to Yazar, Moth Priest to High Queen Iradne of Hammerfell, in the year 4E 206. Sentinel is a real city in Hammerfell, the desert province fans have long expected. Bethesda says it will be some time before it is ready to share more, but it is happy to finally reveal the name and location.
There is still no release date or platform list (as of 4 Nov). Kotaku notes this is the first new teaser since the game was announced at E3 2018.
The last Elder Scrolls story on Photite was Elder Scrolls Online's Echoes of Skyrim season.
