Electronic Arts put 25 vault classics on Steam for the first time on 5 Nov, alongside GOG and the EA App, EA says in its Classics launch post. Seven Anniversary Editions — Road Rash plus Wing Commander, Wing Commander II, III, IV, Prophecy and Privateer 2 — ship with restored master-tape full-motion video, community enhancement patches, and modern QoL such as higher frame rates and controller support.
The other 18 are faithful ports spanning Wing Commander spin-offs, Strike Commander, Crusader, Theme Hospital and the Ultima I–IX / Underworld line. PC Gamer confirms the Steam drop and the seven remasters. EA says anyone who already owned the Wing Commander games digitally on GOG or the EA App gets the Anniversary upgrade free on that store.
Australian Steam and GOG storefronts show the same 5–19 Nov sale window EA named. Clear drive space before grabbing the full Ultima stack; the cinematic Wing Commander III and IV restorations are the ones with the heaviest new video.
